Market Mashup - Lost & Found Market

I was recently a stall holder at The Big Melt Market which was another great Lost and Found Market event. It was fun to be part of the market scene again, being amongst very talented and creative people (you guys rock!).  While I was a very busy bee on my own stall I did manage to have a wee sneak peek of all that was on offer and here are some of my faves....

Foxy Foxes from Ameliorate Designs

Pin Cushion Ring from El Pato Guapo

The latest designs from Gracefield

Snowflake Cookie Cutter from Making It!  Perfect for Miss 3's Frozen themed party!

Flustercluck from Off Beat

Snow White cushion from Shakey Smiles

Winter Double Sided Pendant Necklace from Pretty Birds

Cloud Cushion from Remember when you used to be a Rascal

Wall Decals from Sticky Tiki

Oh Deer Cross Stitch kit from Stitchology

And something just a little bit cute from me....

Market Mashup - Winter Encraftment Market

Well the Winter Encraftment Market was certainly the event to be at last weekend!  It was super busy right from the start, my sneaky plan to beat the crowds didn't quite go to plan. It was great to see so many stall holders and their handmade creations.  Here is a snapshot of some of the cuties I found and wanted to buy and I'm sure you will agree you want to, too.  Thanks to the lovely stallholders who I spoke to and caught up with, it was great to see you and to see you have such a great market day.

These bright coloured embroidery hoops and Pom Pom flowers caught my eye from Miss Mavis

These Story Stones from Jambalaya Handmade Crafts would make a great gift to encourage the kid's imagination, the illustrations were super cute with lots of characters, props, and settings.

I loved the little clay houses on driftwood from Creative Clay Studio so much, that I bought one.  And the cone brooches are just so Christchurch aren't they?  Who knew you could make them look so cute!
These wooden toys from Off Beat would be a boy's or girl's best friend for EVER.  They are super cute and so much work has gone into making them so.  The little features and details are what makes them so special (and cute of course!).

These other cuties caught my eye in my travels and would have loved for them to have come home with me!
Pocket Toys from Ameliorate Designs, Hooded Bear Cowls from Les Pommes Rouges, Buttons from Buttoflies, Girl's Woollen Dress from Snippet

My fave purchase of the day though, was this Toadstool Cookie Cutter from Making It!.  Can't wait to do some baking with Miss 2.5 and create some toadstool cookies.

And the next Encraftment is rumoured to be Sat 29th November, you can keep up to date here.

Market Mashup - Lost & Found Market & Anissa Victoria's Vintage Market

The Lost & Found Market in conjunction with the Anissa Victoria's Vintage Market took over the Pallet Pavilion on Saturday (which sadly on a side note is being deconstructed next month - you can read about it here). It was a lovely autumnal day on Saturday, perfect weather for a market, and so nice to be outside, not too hot and not too cold, although the wind was a little windy at times!    I found lots of crafty things worth a mention, as you will see below there are some very creative and talented people out there, make sure you head to their pages to check them out, say hi and see anything else they might have.  Market season quietens down a little now, although there are still some events on the Market calendar which can be found here, although keep checking back as I'm sure some of this information is not 100% accurate.
Thanks to all the lovely Stallholders I met and caught up with again, letting me take photos and generally just stalking you, it was nice to chat and get inspired and 'catch' the Market bug again after having taken a sabbatical. I look forward to seeing more of your creative endeavours, so keep calm and craft on.

the last market for the year

Yesterday in Amberley was the last market of the year, its been an interesting and fun experience making and creating things and selling them to those who love something a little bit cute.  The inspiration tanks are running a bit low at the moment but as always I am already thinking of the next step!  I have a few ideas and a few ( I say a few but I have many!) Pinterest boards but would love to hear from you if any ideas that you would love to see made.  I am also thinking of getting a few craft supplies for next year to sell, so if you think of anything in that dept. let me know, I'm always keen to get some fresh ideas and add those to the list.
Thank you to my partner in crime, Jemma who has helped me with the creating, merchandising, setting up, packing down and keeping me company at the Markets, it wouldn't have been as much fun without you.  And thank you to my loyal readers, followers, buyers and fellow crafters for all your help and inspiration, its been a blast.

just a little bit cute went to craft market

Well it's been a crazy month with lots going on around here, just a little bit cute officially went to market and I will be going to a few more.  It was a great night at Shop Me Pretty in Sumner and I enjoyed meeting other crafties and fellow stallholders.  I will be posting about them in future posts! These photos are what I have made so far and there is plenty more in the pipeline.  It all started with a few baby food jars and has snowballed from there, a little bit of recycling combined with a little bit of creativity = just a little bit cute!  Enjoy having a look and if you would like anything please comment below or email me at justalittlebitcute@xtra.co.nz

I am also in the process of setting up a facebook page but these things take time so I will keep you posted for it's launch.  On that note have a happy weekend everyone and if you are in Christchurch there is the Craft Invaders Market on Saturday at CPIT, all the details are here- https://www.facebook.com/#!/thecraftcollectivenz

Shop Me Pretty

Shop Me Pretty is a new night market that has popped up in Christchurch on a monthly basis.  The first one was held at St Barnabas Church last night and was just a little bit cute - a variety of stallholders and not too much of the same which was quite nice ( I didn't have the dilemma of deciding what to buy, because there wasn't so much that I couldn't decide on anything - this can happen alot!)

I love Pretty Birds Jewellery (finally made a decision on a necklace - Thanks Lee & Jemma) check out Lee's beautiful designs at https://www.facebook.com/PrettyBirdsCreations

Kate M Handmade - loved the vintage fabrics esp. the polka dots! check more out at www.katem.co.nz

Buttoflies - very cute hair clips, ties, buttons, magnets etc - https://www.facebook.com/ButtofliesNZ

Pretty Pear - beautiful earrings made from sterling silver, check them out at:  https://www.facebook.com/pages/Pretty-Pear/194882497238848

Mudbird - beautiful ceramics as usual - www.mudbird.co.nz

Forget Me Knots fabrics - loved the fabrics, that was actually quite hard to decide, so many cute ones!

Takataka - love their wall decals and lots of other little treasures, the felt hearts were so cute!
I hope I have enticed you for the next one, here are some dates for the next two, hope to see you there!
Just a little bit cute might make an appearance, you never know!

26th June - West Melton Community Centre
